Georgiana and Kitty

The final installment of the Christmas at Pemberley trilogy follows Mr. Darcy’s younger sister, Georgiana—an accomplished pianist—and the youngest Bennet sister, Kitty. Georgiana, shy but creative, is living under the scrutiny of her commanding older brother; Kitty, now free of the influence of her gregarious sister Lydia, is Georgiana’s joyful, practical best friend. It is Christmastime at Pemberley and the pair impatiently await the imminent arrival of Henry Grey, Georgiana's equally shy secret correspondent. When the gentleman enters a family holiday in full force and is met by the unwelcoming presence of Mr. Darcy, Georgiana fears her chance at love will be lost forever. The future is never certain, however, and love has a way of arriving exactly when it is meant to.

Characters (3M, 5W):
GEORGIANA DARCY - 18 - extraordinarily shy, an accomplished pianist, romantic but super hesitant after her experience with Wickham. She is an introvert, but lives a full life in the letters she writes and the music she plays. Very like her brother in some ways, she can be stubborn and a bit of a grudge holder.
KITTY BENNET - 18 - a ray of sunshine, the perfect best friend and wing man, she is supportive, optimistic and a problem solver. Without the influence of Lydia, she is more grounded and generous. She is the mastermind behind Georgianna’s future.
ELIZABETH DARCY - 22 - loves all of her sisters, but loves Georgiana like a combo of sister and mom, and brings Georgiana out in a way that Darcy tends to shut her down.
LYDIA WICKHAM - 17 - a little extra, but has gained some wisdom. Now that she is suddenly without a husband she is looking for a companion again, only to find Kitty unavailable. She is trouble when she has too much unstructured time on her hands.
JANE BINGLEY - 24 - Eldest and most reserved sister of the Bennets. Married to Bingley and very pregnant with her first child. Kind, generous, soft spoken.
MARY BENNET - 20 - Middle sister, brainy and extremely recently engaged to Arthur de Bourgh.
HENRY GREY - 20s - Georgiana's beau - also remarkably shy and an introvert, but of incredible sincerity and intellect. Henry is unassuming, possibly to a fault, and is unaware that he is the hero of the story.
THOMAS O’BRIEN - 20s - Henry’s friend, a little bawdy and a little jolly, says exactly what's on his mind, does not have much time for polite society but is so good natured that everyone kind of loves him.
FITZWILLIAM DARCY - 30 - proud but finding his warmth, does not forgive easily, perhaps slightly over- protective of his little sister.
